Peter Koo will work closely with Mayor Bloomberg to insure that all New Yorkers have access to affordable housing. This includes the continuation and expansion of programs that keep purchase prices low by providing tax credits and property tax abbatements. Peter Koo will oppose any attempt to weaken rent regulations which protect countless New Yorkers from the fear of eviction resulting from larger rent increases. Peter Koo supports changes in Housing Court that will put an end to the months of delays that are unfair to both landlords and tennants.
